Gargi College was the first college in South Campus, DU, to establish a Daycare Center in 2015. This facility is open to the wards of teachers, non-teaching staff and students, and provides them with a safe and comfortable space during working hours. The Center is managed by Unmukti, the Women's Development Centre of the college. Trained attendants and support staff provide care to the wards and maintain the facility’s infrastructure, which includes a dedicated washroom, cribs and beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave among other assets. Round-the-clock CCTV coverage adds to the security and confidence of the users.
