The RDC comprising of the Research Advisory Council (RAC)at Gargi College aims to meet the societal challenges surrounding us, by putting in place a dynamic research environment which brings together innovation and

development from the disciplines of Sciences, Humanities and Commerce. The focus of these research ecosystems is to align with the requirements of NEP 2020.

• To develop and sustain an environment that encourages innovative research.
• To build partnership among various stake holders like industry, government, and community at the local, national, and international levels.
• To enable access to research through sharing of resources and funding opportunities.

• To foster scientific temper by identification of students with an aptitude for research.
• To encourage, coordinate and facilitate R&D programs like research oriented workshops/ seminars/ trainings.
• To identity and inform researchers about the appropriate research opportunities.
• To encourage and facilitate the publication of the research work/projects in reputed academic journals and reputed conferences.
• Guide faculty in filing research proposals for grants.
• Allocate funds for in-house R&D projects of the faculty and students.
• To build a database of research publications and its bibliometric analysis.
• To build a database of research projects (funded from external agency as well as (non-funded). )

• Participation of faculty and students in collaborative research work and Institute/Industrial Training.
