In a significant step towards educational innovation, Gargi College has partnered with Google to provide students with access to advanced technology and learning opportunities. This collaboration has led to the establishment of two advanced laboratories on campus, each equipped with Chromebooks and designed to accommodate 80 students in all. The laboratories offer an immersive learning environment, where students participate in Google-led workshops exploring the use of AI tools to enhance education and research. Gargi College proudly holds the distinction of being the first institution within the University of Delhi to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google. These pioneering labs play a crucial role in embedding technology into the academic ecosystem and represent a one-of-a-kind initiative in the University. The labs are actively utilized for regular coursework, research-driven projects, and career-focused training sessions. They also support interdisciplinary projects, coding bootcamps, digital literacy programs, and hands-on experience with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Faculty members leverage the labs to implement innovative pedagogical methods, while students benefit from a tech-enabled environment that prepares them for real-world careers. These facilities have become integral to fostering a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration on campus.
